We want to thank our many friends who return year after year. The Laughing Gecko offers the only traditional Thai-style bungalows in the entire Krabi- Ao-Nang area, and it's still run by the same friendly family (that's us!) with the same friendly atmosphere that travelers have enjoyed for over ten years. Many of our new friends do what our old friends do: they come for a few days and end up staying for their entire holiday! There is lots for visitors to do- kayaking, trekking, elephant trekking, snorkeling, diving, and much more. We've been sending adventurous travelers on excursions for nearly a decade, so we know the people who lead the area's best trips. Our visitors always return at the end of the day exhausted and happy. It's a great time to visit Laughing Gecko. Ao Nang is better than ever, and so are we! We've been renovating the room beside the restaurant into a game room, and we now have internet access. We've been planting flowers and plants, and the place really looks great. Our nightly Thai feast of traditional dishes remains one of the best meals in town, and our cozy huts allow the breezes to soothe you while you sleep.
